Olympia Tae Kwon Do was founded by Grandmaster Bruce Alamdari in 1988. Since then, Master Bruce has produced over 500 Black Belt students in the Houston area.
Master Bruce has been practicing Tae Kwon Do since he was a child, and was recently awarded his 8th degree Black Belt from the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. He has a proven record of teaching both children and adults, and works to improve his students’ physical and mental health through the practice of Tae Kwon Do.
Using Tae Kwon Do techniques such as kicking, punching and different agility drills, students learn to improve their coordination, balance, attention span and more. Olympia Tae Kwon Do’s youth program teaches life skills in addition to martial arts, focusing on principles like good sportsmanship, social interaction, and respecting elders — qualities that students benefit from for their entire lives. Master Bruce also teaches students to be aware of strangers, as well as promoting an anti-bullying message.
Olympia Tae Kwon Do is based in Spring, Texas. A former competitor himself, Master Bruce has coached students in tournaments across the state and even at a national level.
